Typically during the high season – July and August – we rent both villas together but can consider one villa if there is availability at short notice.
Rentals during the high season are Saturday to Saturday but if you have a request for another check in date or a shorter period, please do enquire and we can see how we can help out.
La Zahúrda has spectacular views of the La Axarquia countryside and across to the Mediterranean sea. From a conical hilltop guests experience the rustic feel of the villas and enjoy painting, yoga, cycling, swimming, sun bathing, walking and home cooking in fresh mountain air surrounded by a kaleidoscope of flowers, the lively scent of wild fennel, and tweeting birds.
There are two houses on the property. The casa is the main house from which you enter as you alight the stairs from the driveway. It features a wide balcony overlooking the countryside and in certain light all the way to Africa. There is a large lounge with an open fireplace for entertaining which opens onto a lovely bedecked terrace where guests can comfortably sit and enjoy a fabulous meal.
The casita is the smaller house at the bottom of the stairs from the casa. It has a homely feel. The lounge is cozy and the dining table opens out onto a terrace with views of the garden and the mountains, often dappled in sunlight as the shadows create changing patterns all day.
